Celestial Body is a fantasy oil pastel painting on gallery wrap stretched canvas. The subject is a beautiful woman with dark brown eyes and black hair wearing only a headdress. She's surrounded by the deep velvety blues and twinkling pink and white stars of deep space. Celestial Body has been described as "sexy", "seductive", and "exotic". She is a seductress, a femme fatale but also exhibits a certain sensual vulnerability.

Celestial Body was completed in 2005 and took about 30 hours to paint. The edges of the canvas are painted black.
