Miniature Mixed Media Painting: Fractured 1

Miniature Mixed Media Painting - Fractured 1

My Favorite Thing About Fractured 1

This is the first in my "Fractured" series depicting a woman's face with only her eye and the top portion of her face visible. My favourite thing about this painting is its intensity. Between the penetrating look from the woman's eye and the contrast between the blue of her iris and the red of the foreground, it's hard to ignore!

Details About Fractured 1

At 4" x 6" (10cm x 15cm), Fractured 1 is an Original Small Work of Art (OSWOA) or miniature painting. The image size is 3.5" x 5.5" (8.75cm x 13.75cm) and it's matted with white 5" x 7" (12.5cm x 17.5cm) Crescent® Conservation Grade Mat.
