Back in the day, I was ambitious. I'm talking 500-to-1000-words-per-blog-post ambitious. But reality has finally set it - I'm not Katherine Tyrrell, I'm not Darren Rowse, I'm not Sonia Simone and I'm not Brian Clark. I'm not a writer, at all - I'm a painter!
I'd read some excellent advice that really motivated me to teach my readers and build a great blog. And no doubt, back in the day, I managed to write a couple hefty articles that I'm actually proud of like 8 Ways to Add Height to Your Room and You Got Oil Pastel Paint on Your Carpet. But they were few and far between and a real challenge as a wannabe writer. So I'm changing tactics: instead of agonizing as I try to write long blog articles all the time (and end up writing very few), I'm going to write bite-sized posts on a regular basis. And I'll leave writing longer pieces for whatever special ocassions evokes . I'm excited! Let's hear it for less agonizing and more time to spend painting! Labels: art business and marketing
