Welcome to Art by Anima
My name is Anima McKertcher, but for the sake of simplicity, you can just call me Anima. I'm a Canadian artist born in Ghana, West Africa and living in Edmonton, Alberta. I primarily work with oil pastels, acrylic paint and stretched canvas. Creating sensual, dream-like figurative paintings is my passion and most of my art is characterized by beautiful women, realistic details, exotic colors and a fantasy, dream-like tone.
