About Blue Pendant

Blue Pendant is a miniature oil pastel painting on blue Canson Mi-Tiente pastel paper. It features the lower half of a beautiful woman's face. Her complexion was created using a combination of pink, grey, and brown oil pastels. Her lips were painted with a bold red and dark browns to contrast with the blue pendant hanging from her neck. It took three and a half hours to paint and was completed in July of 2007.
